BUSINESS MODEL. Responsible and sustainable.

The same business model that Jean-Claude Decaux developed in 1964 when he created the bus shelter with advertising face is adapting to all our activities today. We are not burdening local public financiers or taxpayers. With our innovative business model, we meet the needs of local governments and city residents and always offer smart and responsible solutions. We have experience in more than 200 areas, giving us complete control throughout the value chain. Thanks to this, we can ensure the optimal quality of products and services and focus fully on the needs of our customers.

JCDecaux's Sustainable Development Strategy, launched in 2014, covers six priorities. The priorities are divided into three components of sustainable development and apply to all JCDecaux policies and sub-units around the world.

1. Reduce energy consumption
2. Reduce our other environmental impacts

3. Implement a Group-wide health and safety policy
4. Implement an ambitious Group-wide social policy

5. Apply sustainable development in procurement policy
6. Strengthen the commitment of workers to the principles of sustainable development

OUR CHARTER. Social values.

Since 1964, the success and reputation of JCDecaux have been built on strong values which have always guided our actions and been core to our culture. Among those values is the idea that people are key to our development, and we therefore are strongly committed to ensuring a safe and respectful work environment for all employees. In the context of rapid international expansion, we believe that our commitment to fundamental social values is more important than ever and we have developed the JCDecaux international Charter of fundamental social values to provide a guideline for our behaviour throughout the group
